GOVERNMENT ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE IDAPPADI – 637 102 Institution Management Committee Institution Management Committee was constituted and inaugurated at Government Arts and Science College,Idappadi on 8th September 2025. As convener of IMC the principal Dr.K.Thamizharasi welcomed the dignitaries and explain the agenda for the meeting. Except the employment office representativeDr.Mani, Deputy Director, Dist., Employment &Career Guidance Center, Salem and the parent representative all the other members both external and internal were present for the meeting. Points discussed in the meeting: 1. The representative from JSW Mr.BharathiPalanisamy, Regional Co-Ordinator, Salem assured to provide scholarships to eligible students, organize awareness programs and allow the students for internship and placement in their firm. 2. The representative from Aerospace Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Salem Dr.V.Anbarasi was willing to provide financial support to purchase sports equipment’s and fulfill specific requirements of the college. Dr.V.Anbarasi also wished to provide skill based training both current and outgone students. She also agreed for placements in their firm especially at Hosur. 3. The representative from SV Industries was willing to provide resource persons for motivation lectures to the students and was ready to accept students for internships. 4. After a healthy discussion it was decided to approach India Cements and Aditya Birla groups, Sankari for financial support. 5. Mr.S.Moorthy, NGO promised to support the physically challenged students by arranging scribe and other amenities. 6. The students representative Mr.M.Janarthanan,I BBA voiced out that they need many placement drivesbefore they leave the campus. 7. The internal members agreed to submit the requirements for the college to the external committee members for speedy actions. 8. Finally the principal presented the vote of thanks.
